The Project

We were given a project where we had to make a color wheel on adobe illustrator, but before we could make the color wheel we had to learn about the different colors and how there are different color combinations that work together. After we took notes we then had to start using adobe illustrator, which was pretty new for me so it took some time to figure out all of the shortcuts, shapes, and everything like that. After getting used to the program It was a pretty fun project, which was good.

What I Learned

Throughout the days that we were working on this project we learned a lot of information. We looked at the color wheel and how there are primary and secondary colors. We also looked at different color schemes like complementary which are colors across from each other, and triad colors which are three colors that make a triangle on the color wheel, not to mention schemes like analogous and split complementary. We were also taught about different types of a certain color, like hues, tints, and shades. That day I was also introduced to adobe illustrator which as I said before, was very new to me. We had to make a new file in the program and I had to remember the different shortcuts that we learned, along with the basics on how to put different shapes on the screen, fill them with colors, and add things like text into my project.

How It Went

I think that overall the project went very well. After I got used to the program and really understood what we were assigned I think that this was very fun and low-key project. At the beginning I was a little confused with how everything worked but after just a couple of minutes i got the hang of it. For next time I think that I could do a better time with my job management. I feel like I went kind of slow on this project, which was most likely because I was being introduced to something new, so this will be an easy fix as I go on to the next project.

Our Project For our final project, the teachers gave us teams of four or five, and assigned us with the task of creating a product. This may sound easy now but trust me, it was pretty difficult and had many different components to the whole project. Not only did we have to brainstorm ideas to make the product, but after we decided on the idea of making a hair growing shampoo called Ulu Lae , we had to make sure that our product would sell. We created advertisements, animations, logos, graphic designs, commercials, and even a website so we could really show off our product to the buyers. The Project We were assigned a project where we had to make a animation of 10 words that describe us. We had already picked out these 10 words last quarter, so the whole objective of this project was to basically get introduced to adobe photoshop. We had some requirements, like they all had to come from off the screen to on the screen, and we also had to have all 10 words on the screen in about 4 seconds. But we were also given a lot of chance to add in our own creativity. We could change the colors of the words, we could have different fonts and sizes, and we could also choose how we wanted our words to come on the screen, like if we wanted them to bounce of a wall or twirl around. It was really a lot of our own choices that made up how the project turned out. What I Learned  The main thing I learned while doing this project was a lot about photoshop.
